DAY1

Arrival — Xiamen

Arrive at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport. Check in to Andaz Xiamen (SM City Plaza) or Xiamen Seaview Resort. Afternoon: Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street (century-old arcade architecture) → Lujiang night cruise. Dinner: 1980 Shaorouzong on Zhongshan Road (Minnan-style rice dumpling + shacha noodles). Taiwan compatriots: present "First-Time Taiwan Visitor Service Pack" for 7-day free city transit + select hotel discounts.

DAY2

Xiamen Cultural Day

Morning: Nanputuo Temple (1,000-year-old monastery, thriving incense) → Xiamen University (Jiageng architecture, advance booking required). Lunch: Shapowei Art District seafood (near University West Gate). Afternoon: Gulangyu Island (UNESCO World Heritage, 20-min ferry). Xiamen → Pingtan Island

High-speed rail: Xiamen North → Pingtan (~1.5 hrs) or drive (~3 hrs). Check in to Beigang Village "Stones Sing" guesthouse (seaside stone-house B&B, bookable on Booking/Ctrip). Lunch: Beigang Village seafood stall (seasonal catch). Afternoon: Pingtan north-coast loop — Xianren Well (sea erosion wonder) → Donghai Fairyland (sea caves) → Northern Ecological Corridor. Evening: head to Changjiang'ao Wind Farm (one of the best Blue Tears viewing spots).

DAY4

Pingtan Blue Tears Night

Blue Tears conditions: water temp 18–24°C, south wind, no moonlight. Best viewing: 20:00–02:00. Top spots: Changjiang'ao Wind Farm (classic: blue tears + wind turbines in frame), Tannan Bay (sandy beach type, family-friendly), Beigang Village beach (convenient, fewer tourists), Longwangtou Bathing Beach (closest to town, easy access). Daytime: Tannan Bay beach leisure → Pingtan Taiwan Duty-Free Market → Haitan Ancient City. Overnight in Pingtan.

DAY5

Pingtan → Quanzhou (Maritime Silk Road Origin)

Drive to Quanzhou (~2.5 hrs) or Pingtan HSR → Fuzhou South → Quanzhou. Quanzhou: UNESCO "World Maritime Emporium of Song-Yuan China" (2021 inscription). Morning: Kaiyuan Temple (1,300-year-old monastery, intertwined mulberry trees, Hindu stone pillars in main hall) → Qingjing Mosque (one of China's oldest). Lunch: Quanzhou West Street (mianxianhu rice noodle soup, runbingcai spring rolls, ginger duck). Afternoon: Quanzhou Maritime Museum (Silk Road artifacts, Song-Yuan ceramics, Arab merchant relics). Evening: departure from Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport. 240h visa-free extension: continue to Fuzhou (1-hr HSR) → Wuyishan (UNESCO dual heritage).
