FAQ

Common Questions About This Tour

How physically demanding is this tour?
Moderate level. Zhangjiajie involves significant walking and some stairs. Tianmen Mountain has a cliff-hanging walkway that requires comfortable footwear. We can adjust intensity based on your fitness.
Can we visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge?
Yes — this is included as an optional highlight on Day 3. The bridge is 430m long and 300m above the valley floor. Advance booking is required; we handle all arrangements.
What's the drive time between Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang?
Approximately 3 hours by private car. We depart after the morning session to arrive in time for the famous evening light on Fenghuang's Tuo River.
Is Fenghuang overcrowded?
The ancient town can be busy during peak holidays. We time arrivals for early morning or evening when crowds thin, and focus on sections beyond the main tourist strip.
Are there drone photography opportunities?
Drone restrictions apply inside Zhangjiajie National Park. However, several viewpoints outside the core zone permit drone flights. We can arrange permits and optimal locations with advance notice.
